RA Twist for Project 365
Why add an RA Twist to Project 365? What is an RA Twist for Project 365? I plan on posting daily to my photo blog, Geek Good Girl, it is my hope to anyway. I had tried to do Project 365 in 2010. I did well until I started flaring in September of 2010, my Rheumatoid Arthritis had been in “remission” so to speak for a couple years. Then I struggled to catch up in a way and then finally let go that I would be able to. So this year I am going to give me an RA Twist for Project 365:
- The images I post are not limited to photos I have taken, but can also be graphic images or videos I have created. I love creating images and making videos as much as taking photos so I want to use all types of creative media.
- The images, photos, videos or other creative media do not have to be made or taken that day. This way if I don’t feel well enough to sit long at the computer or hold the camera, I can share any of the thousands of photos I already have.
- If I feel too sick to post or something comes up and I cannot post, I skip posting. My RA Twist to Project 365 will be making 365 posts to my blog. They do not have to be in a row.
- Leap year? Take the day off.
I am hoping to create awareness about RA and why it is not what most people think is Arthritis. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic pain disease that diminishes the quality of life on a daily basis for many patients throughout the rest of their lives. We fight daily to do the things we do. We leave so much about the pain, swelling, stiffness, fatigue, brain fog, damage and the minutes, hours, days, months and years this disease takes from us untold.
I have added buttons/links on my websites to the RPF since it is the first and only organization with the sole purpose of benefiting people with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and not just thrown in with the broad category of Arthritis.
