Internet Marketing Tips
Internet Marketing with Directories
Using directories to help search engines find your web site works pretty well. You can find many directories here.. Including a bulk submission to 35 web directories. We even have packages that allow you to use multiple titles and domain pages. Meaning you can submit your domain and some subpages of your domain.
Internet Marketing for Google
Remember when looking to gain in the SERP’s with Google you need to pay attention to many items. Look for links from important pages with PageRank. This includes within your own web site. If the first page of your site tells about your company, and your product/service pitch is on a subpage, then you should link to it from your main index.
Whenever you get links from directories, especially in bulk, you should make sure they are accross a wide range of IP’s. This will help your LocalRank.
Topic Specific Internet Marketing
Also for Google you will benifit from getting Topic Specific links. This is links from sites that are about the same or related to the subject your web site is about. Not only will this help with Google, but it will usually help you get the visitors you need from the site that is supplying the link.
Internet Marketing Keywords
When submitting titles (”anchor text”) for your links to directories or other sources of links, you should always try to vary your keywords. This really shouldn’t be just in the “anchor text”, but also in the pages on your web site as well.
A good way to find related keywords is from Google itself. Google’s synonym search command (~) will help you find those that Google does consider related to your keyword term(s). An Example: Internet Marketing. This one only shows one on the first page which is “web site promotion”. Look for the BOLD words. Another example is websites. You will see site, official, homepage are all bold.
