Dell Support & Service Sucks
If there is really a way to order parts or get service from dell easily please let me know! How many of you have Dell computers? Have you ever had to call in for anything? How would you rate them? I think they suck, if I had to score them 1 to 10 and 10 being best, they would be a 0 for sure.
Time With Dell
Anyone that has tried to talk to Dells support, service or sales team probably already knows they will spend most of their day doing just that. Even if you just need a simple answer or just need to order a part.Why? Because DELL SUCKS!
Today I decided I would call Dell and order parts for one of my 9 Dell Computers. I thought getting this computer going and giving it to my son for his birthday would be nice. So I called in twice this afternoon, just to get disconnected after someone finally took me off hold. Yep, we are going to see if that part is in stock….then dial tone….why? Because DELL SUCKS!
You know, I was dragging my feet on making the call to Dell for a week already. So since I finally started, I had to keep trying….I call again, this time I finally get someone and he made it through the part stock search (lets not discuss listening to him singing in a foriegn language and belching off and on…I was just thinking woohoo I can order!) Then he asked me for a credit card. I told him for the second time that I wanted to use my Dell Business Credit Account. He says hold on I will have to have my manager do that, it is a 6011 number right? I said no (that is Discover cards right?) He said oh I found it. Then comes back and says it won’t go through. I said why? He said I don’t know. I said why won’t it go through? He starts screaming at me that he can’t get it to go through and he wants my credit card number. I hung up. Why? Because DELL SUCKS!
But do I give up? No I have already devoted half my day to this and I’m usually making $300 an hour when I work so this isn’t cheap for me…(obviously my time does not matter at all to Dell)..I just want some lousey Dell $250 parts to fix this computer, seems simple right?
So I’m listening to the ringing again, go through the menu again, this time to get a guy from parts that says he has to transfer me. I think oh crap here we go again. So I’m on hold, 20 minutes go by and another guy gets on the phone, he says he is technical support and he has to send me back to parts. Why? Because DELL SUCKS! This isn’t the first time that one has happened either….
Do I give up? Well anyone that knows me knows that I don’t. So I called again, I make it through the menu, to parts, to someones Voicemail because he has stepped away from his desk. Why? Because DELL SUCKS!
So now it is past 7 P.M. and I decide I will have to start the calls to them again tomorrow. Why? Because DELL SUCKS!
But tonight after thinking about how much Dell’s so called support and service has been over the last year or so (they were really good a few years ago). I have decided I better head over to ShareBuilder and sell off my Dell Stock. Why? Because DELL SUCKS! And I can’t see a company being around 20 years from now when they are wasting so much time and losing business from not being able to take a simple order. Even their website is slow, I don’t know how many times I have waited 10 mins for a page to load or went to a page that said they were to busy. Come ‘on they sell freakin SERVERS!
Don’t buy Dell products. Why? BECAUSE DELL SUCKS!
